Mostostal Pomorze begins work on a major offshore wind project
We’re thrilled to share that plate cutting has started for our latest offshore wind contract!
⚙️ The project includes 13 steel blocks with a total weight of 2,846 tons, produced for one of the world’s leading shipyards.
These structures will form part of two 2-GW offshore converter stations located in the German sector of the North Sea.
Together, the installations will deliver 4 GW of transmission capacity – enough to power a city the size of Berlin – strengthening Europe’s clean-energy network.
Our scope of work includes:
🔹 Prefabrication and assembly of steel structures
🔹 Anti-corrosion protection
🔹 Loading operations
🔹 Development of the load-out method
The project is scheduled for completion by April 2027.
“We are proud to be a part of this significant offshore wind investment. This project confirms Mostostal Pomorze’s position as a trusted partner in delivering complex energy infrastructure” said our CEO – Arkadiusz Aszyk.
With years of experience in offshore oil & gas, we’re now applying our expertise to projects that support Europe’s energy transition – safely, efficiently, and sustainably. 🌱
